FWEAN Hosts Successful District Level Women Entrepreneurs’ Conclave 2081 in Nuwakot

The Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) organized a remarkable District Level Women Entrepreneurs’ Conclave 2081 on June 25th, 2024, in Nuwakot District. This event, held in coordination with WEAN Nuwakot, was supported by the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal and brought together around 200 inspiring women entrepreneurs from Nuwakot and Rasuwa District.

The conclave was led by FWEAN President Ms. Shova Gyawali, with Chief Guest H.E. Abrar H. Hasmi, Ambassador of Pakistan in Nepal, and other distinguished guests including representatives from the District Administration Office Nuwakot, Nuwakot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Division Forest Office Nuwakot, and Nuwakot Chamber of Commerce and Domestic and Small Industries Nuwakot. Mr. Nouman Zafar, First Secretary Press and Culture from the Pakistan Embassy, also graced the occasion alongside representatives from FWEAN, WEAN Nuwakot, and Rasuwa.

During the event, the oath-taking ceremony of the committee of the Woman Entrepreneurs’ Association of Nepal, Rasuwa, was held. His Excellency the Ambassador then presented tokens of love to the Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN), Women Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (WEAN) Rasuwa, and Nuwakot.

The second half of the event featured a workshop facilitated by Ms. Basanti Pradhan, 3rd Vice President of FWEAN, focusing on the achievements, opportunities, and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. The conclave concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Sunita Vaidya Shrestha, 2nd Vice President of FWEAN, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the guests and participants for their invaluable contributions to the success of the event.

This conclave stands as a testament to FWEAN’s commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs and fostering a supportive ecosystem for their growth and prosperity. The event also showcases the strong international partnerships and collaborations that FWEAN has built, particularly with the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal, to support and uplift women entrepreneurs in Nepal.
