ITC
Jun 17, 2024The International Trade Centre (ITC) is a joint agency of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations (UN), established in 1964. It aims to foster sustainable economic development and contribute to achieving the Millennium Development Goals in developing countries and countries with economies in transition through trade and international business development. The ITC provides trade and market intelligence, technical support, and practical capacity building to policymakers, the private sector, and organizations that support business, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing and transition economies. It helps these SMEs become more competitive and connect to international markets for trade and investment, raising incomes and creating job opportunities, especially for women, young people, and poor communities.
